An exciting new collection of mixed media pieces inspired by dusk, dawn, and the reflected light of twilight. The work is made using archival quality inks, acrylic paints, and dry media, ensuring their longevity. They explore different limited palettes, from cool blues and pinks to warm yellows, ochres, and siennas, to bring out the beauty of nature. They are presented in mats or floater frames and finished with archival quality UV protection.
Woods
Inspired by lockdown walks with my little boy and en plain air sessions in outdoor spaces that are close to my heart. The subjects are mostly local and include Warley woods, Priory woods and Bumblehole. The pieces are either presented in a mat or a floater frame that I made myself. Earth
Inspired by the Zorn palette with a little Cobalt turquoise thrown in here and there. The light of the hills of Cwmbran and the majesty of the Lake District set the mood in this series of work.
